Tim and I have concluded once again that we love living in the northwest. It is so beautiful with all the lush trees and mountains so close. The mild weather is also nice, even though this winter we have definitely been colder than usual.
So to enjoy the outdoors we all got bundled up and went for a hike in North Bend. My brother and his family joined us on this "easy" hike. My sweet husband thinks any hike under 2 miles and not straight up a mountain is easy. But my very out of shape, just had a baby 4 months ago, body, didn't agree that the hike was a piece of cake. Kathy, Avery and I had some good girl bonded time as we headed back down the mountain trail and let the boys continue up the trail. They were able to report that they made it to the waterfalls and had a great hike. And I'm happy to report that the muscles only hurt for a couple days!
Avery Saige is 4 months old today and so cute and doing amazing!
