Wirlwind

Well Sunday was full of surprises. We all enjoyed a nice relaxing Sabbath day. The fun news was that Jacob said his first word which was, BUBBLE! Pretty funny. We couldn't stop testing him, asking him to say it over and over. He then decided to wow us and also say BALL and make Tim feel special with an officially DAD. So that was fun.

But unfortunately the day ended not so fun. We were happily getting the boys ready for bed, when we heard a scream followed by Anthony running around the corner holding his mouth and catching the blood dripping down. Well after 2 and half hours at the ER and then 3 stitches later, Anthony has quite a sore lower lip. He was so brave and tough when he got the stitches, but agreed that it was not fun. So we are trying to heal up.

To make it happy again we enjoyed our family night together at a birthday party and went on some Super jumps and slides! Jacob loved it even though it was pretty scary high. We are all in one piece, for now!!

Puyallup River

Then yesterday the boys and I figured if we wanted to see dad we would have to go to the river. So we met Tim at the river, after he had already caught a 12lb silver salmon(which we had for dinner-yummy). We played in the giant "sandbox" by the river. Got sand in all the cracks and crevices. It was a fun time.

The Fair

We did the Puyallup Fair! It is quite a huge thing over here. People come from all over the US to this fair. So we went on the opening day, got in free and spent all day playing.

Anthony got to enjoy the rides now that he meets the 40in. mark. Went down a giant slide all by himself. Jacob enjoyed the petting zoo, he loves animals. We also went to the rodeo. Tim's favorite was the bull riding. Anthony liked the horse bucking. And well Jacob and I saw what we could as "we" were running up and down the isles! It was fun.

The smell of Fall is in the air

We are now connected!

Well September is a happy time for Tim. The Fall fishing begins and he is in heaven. He tries to get to the river 2-4 times a week and work full days. He loves to fish, what more can be said. And he's good at it too. He took one of his Doctor's out this morning. He was his professional fishing guide!

The boys and I have been enjoying an extra week of summer-sunshine by hitting the parks. Jacob is always trying to keep up with the big boys, which results in a few bumps and bruises. But he's such a mellow, "roll with the punches", little guy that he quickly jumps up and keeps on playing. Anthony already wishes he could run off to school with all his friends, but he's got 1 more year. We are working on preschool stuff at home, "mommy preschool" style. He is anxious to learn and loves to do homework, hopefully we can keep it up.

Just wanted to start this up and see how it goes. So here we are and hope to keep it up.
