No throwing Rocks in the Pond!!

We have a rule at our house. No throwing rocks into the pond!! Well that rule has definitely been broken. Tim got a truck load of rocks and had the boys throw them in the pond this week.

Jacob was loving it. The reason for the rocks is because Jacob has become so ambitious with "going fishing in the pond". He gets one of Tim's fishing rods and marches to the backyard and proceeds to go fishing for the gold fish in the pond! He loves fishing, wonder where he got that from??? So for his safety and my sanity, we filled the pond with rocks.


There is still the stream and the waterfall, just no pond full of water! Fun project that all the boys enjoyed. The never ending adventures at our house!

Trip to Idaho and Yellowstone

We had a great time going to Idaho and then on to Yellowstone for Tim's family reunion. But I must say that it was way too hot for me!!! I was so glad to get home to the 70's degree weather. We saw lots of geysers, including Old Faithful. Anthony and Jake said they were stinky!

My parents picked up the boys and I from Yellowstone. We went to Twin Falls, to walk through the open house of the temple. It was so wonderful to take the boys through the temple and see it all. It was so beautiful.









My wonderful friends Bethany and Hayley through a baby shower for me! It was awesome! They made it so fun and pink!! Thanks for the party. Thanks for all the gifts!! So excited for our little girl!!

4th of July

We went to Canada for the 4th of July. Yes, I know not very Patriotic! But hey what can I say, when I'm married to a Canadian! We blew up fireworks when we got home to the USA, because Anthony was sad to miss the holiday. We had a great time at the grandparents. We took the boys to Dino Land. It was fun. With boat rides, bumper cars, miniture golf and all the kid toys.

Tim took the boys and his parents on a hike! He wore his parents out, but only inspired his boys for more! Tough kids. I stayed home and put my feet and watched chick flicks with Pamela! It was a fun adventure in BC.

One on One

Jacob and Tim had a special one on one "Dad day". Jake is always talking about Tim's boat and going fishing. Mind you he is only 2, but knows exactly what he likes! Of course it melts Tim's heart and he can't help but smile very BIG!! So Tim decided to take Jake out on the boat and catch some fish. Jake had such a good time. He caught and brought home 5 fish. He called them "mommy fish and baby fish". He loves fishing with Dad.

Alki Beach

Fun in the Seattle sun with the cousins. We enjoyed the weekend with my brother and his family. It was hot and beautiful sunshine! The boys all loved going to the beach.
I was such a good mommy and remembered to layer the sunscreen on my kids, but unfortunately forgot to apply some to myself! So I was very red and burnt!! Ouch!!
Anthony was busy looking for seashells. Jacob was braving the cold ocean water and looking for fish! Caleb was playing in the sand, he was a sand monster-a cute one. Liam was digging in the sand with his shovel and watching Anthony.
